Donate a Bike
If you have an old or unwanted bike that you no longer need or use we would love to take it off your hands and give it a new lease of life in one of our workshops.
The easiest way to donate your bike is to pop along to our Shipley Bikery during opening hours. Our shop is open Monday to Friday 9am – 4:30pm and most Saturdays between 10am and 3 pm. We’ll happily take your bike off your hands and either repair it for resale or donation, strip it for parts or recycle what can’t be reused.
We can also claim Gift Aid on bikes that we sell so if you are a taxpayer please ask about Gift Aid when you drop your bike off.
We are able to pick up bikes for donation from individuals in our local area, though we ask where possible for donations to be brought to us. We will collect within a 10 miles radius of our shop in Shipley. If you are close by and have a bike to donate please fill in the bike donation form below and we’ll be in touch to arrange to collect it if it is not possible for you to do so.
If you are outside our 10 mile collection radius and need us to collect your bike, please still fill in the form as we may be able to accommodate your request.
If the bike you are thinking about donating has been left outside and is mostly rust then it is likely to only be suitable for scrap. Please help us conserve our resources and don’t request a collection if this is the case. Thank you for your cooperation.
