Super Cyclist Kath’s Solo Lejog Fundraising Challenge

LANDS END TO JOHN O’GROATS

Cycling enthusiast Kath Lyons is fulfilling one of her ambitions to cycle the length of the country – all the way from Land’s End to John O’Groats, a whopping 874 miles! 

Kath set off on her adventure on 17th May and is covering around 50 miles every day. Kath is self funding the trip and is not taking part in an organised ride to make it even more challengeing. Even better than that Kath is generously raising money for 3 charities, MND Association, Parkinsons UK (Skipton and Yorkshire Group) and the Margaret Carey Foundation. 

Kath became aware of the Margaret Carey Foundation when she came along to a Bike Kitchen event at the Shipley Bikery as part of her preparation for an earlier cycling adventure. We are so impressed with Kath’s achievement, we can’t wait to welcome her back and hear all about it.
