COVID 19 Update
Added: 2nd July 2020
The health and wellbeing of our staff and volunteers is of the highest importance to Margaret Carey Foundation (MCF) as we experience the constantly changing impact of the Coronavirus. As a result, we are taking the sensible and necessary precautions to protect both our customers, staff and volunteers, supporters and beneficiaries.
All our operations are now closed to the public including the Shipley Bikery, and our training programmes in the Bradford Hub are suspended. Additionally, all our prison workshops are closed as they take precautions to prevent the spread of the virus. We are committed to getting all our workshops up and running again as soon as it is safe to do so.
As a small charity we rely heavily on the support and generosity of the public which we hope will continue as we progress through these difficult times.
MCF can still be contacted via the website and via social media:
Facebook: @MargaretCareyFoundation and @MCFShipley
Twitter: @MCFWorkshops
Instagram: @mcfbikery
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide regular updates to our beneficiaries, supporters and customers about the services available and as soon as the time is right we will resume our service delivery.
In the meantime, stay safe and well and thank you for your ongoing support.
Best wishes,
Bill Schofield
