Training Success for Shipley Bikery Mechanic John

CONGRATULATIONS TO JOHN, VELOTECH ACCREDITED TRAINER
Congratulations to Shipley Bikery head mechanic John Hyde who has successfully completed the Velotech Platinum Plus qualification.

Having previously acheived his City & Guilds Level 2 award in Bike Maintenance John was already a highly skilled mechanic. This latest qualification means that now John is also able to deliver industry recognised Velotech accredited training up to Velotech Gold.

Thanks to a donation from the Leeds Building Society Foundation we were able to purchase the additional tools necessary for John to start delivering the training, beginning with the volunteers at the Shipley Bikery.

Once the volunteer training is complete in early 2020 we will be able to start delivering training to anyone interested in improving their bike maintenance skills. Find out more about our Velotech courses and register your interest.
